Double RJ45 S-Plus Telephone and Data Socket is specially designed to allow a single user to choose TWO different telecommunication network service providers and subscribe to their services by using only ONE single socket shared by both services providers without any interference to each other’s operation. Should there be a change in network service provider(s), end user does not have to replace the whole socket as he only needs to have the terminated service provider’s socket module replaced by the new service provider’s socket module.
This socket unit is built to the standard (85mm x 85mm) electrical faceplate size, and can be attached to an industrial standard electrical box (BS4662) concealed in wall for flush-mounted or to an ABS back box for surface-mounted installation.
Two separate socket modules with 8-position RJ45 jacks (for two different Telecommunications Network Service providers) are housed in a single socket frame. Each Category 5e 4-pair UTP cable is terminated at the RJ45 jack with pin assignment according to TIA/EIA-568-B standard (designation T568A).
Complete with its own PCB and back cover, each socket module can be replaced or removed individually.
